First crazy quilt by Andama Dujon

There is something magical about vintage and antique linen, How many hours went into the creation of these wonderful pieces and when as well as what they were used for. I collect these gorgeous linens reusing them in many of the  fiber creations I make and I thought I would share photos of the first crazy layered quilt I made using heritage coloured piece. This stunning quilt is a queen size with every piece hand stitched and it took me 9 months from start to finish with me mostly working in the evenings for 2 to 4 hours at a time.

One of the interesting things about the Knick Knackery in Glen Innes is that we make only vinatge and unusual crafts which makes us the place to come when checking out the different.

We are originally creative and generally make one of a kind items so call in and see us as we were voted the top place to visit when in Glen Innes

Andama Galleries is the only place to date in Australia where these quilts are made  to date and where in fact created in this  gallery. We now have classes on Saturdays and it is wonderful to see new quilts now being made using all recycled linens and more.
