I think it was mentioned that Andama Galleries was in a very small village and we have decided to bring those who are interested into our rural lives.
We are actually only 7 min from the small town of Murwillumbah, 1/2 an hour from Tweed Heads which is a major shopping area then 40 min to the famous Gold Coast which is world renound for its beaches and lifestyle. Turn the car around from our village and one is 40 min from the also very famous Byron Bay. One is able to travel to some of the best beaches in the world as well as country side to die for in less than hour and in most cases 15 to 30 min.
Local shopping for us here is a treat as it is hard to resist the lure of the short trips to Nimbin, Ballina, Lismore, Byron Bay, Surfers Paradise as well as many other close towns. We a lucky enough to have many colorfull people along side famous people and the creativity as well as the diversity, of the locals along side those who are new to the area have given us a wonderful blend of differant culture, art, and ideas.
One is able to breathe in the serenity of the Northern Rivers making it a wonderful place to live and or visit. I myself am another inport to the area from Sydney and even after being here for 10 years still marvel at the charm and beauty of this wonderful place.
