June/ July

June/July has been a little sad as one of my beautiful dogs passed away on the 5th of July so the house is now much quieter.
The renovations on the house are nearly complete with the last of five air conditioners having been installed with only the new eco hot water system to be done in another 4 weeks. I guess we all have to watch our carbon footprint these days and with the government promising to increase the cost of electricity it forces us to remove the old power hungry hot water systems to install the heat pumps or solar.
The nine coco palm trees in the yard are now to be removed in July and I often why people actually plant these trees as they are pretty close to being a pest in the sub tropic climate. These trees of mine are nearly three stories in height and have managed to churn up the back yard to the degree that it will not be long before the root systems hit the foundations of the house and no doubt the pipes as well. Ahhh well these things are sent to try us.
We are now accepting entries for the new Babies of the world reborn doll competition which will be judged at the end of August and the prizes are as usual listed for you to have a look at.
I am in the process of making two new dark skinned bubs and both so far are looking lovely and I cant wait to see them finished. Even as these bubs are created we never really know what they will look like until they are completed.
Photos of the house before renovations have been taken and we will start the loading of them in the coming weeks.
So guys that’s about it this month as we have been really tied up with the constant stream of workmen along with the bad weather however we have bee keeping up with the demand for bubs and have been creating some wonderful reborn babies.
Drop in to the gallery or send us a note to say hi as we love hearing from you all.

Sorry to hear about Elsie Andama, even though she didn’t like me, I think I’ll miss her :)
