Catchup 2009

Greetings to one and all and welcome to 2009 at Andama Galleries
It looks like this year will be an interesting one not only for the gallery but for the members of the Baby Banter Forum. One of our members has been chosen to do a prototype reborn baby which is fantastic and we will be telling everyone the details when it becomes public.
Doing a prototype is a big thing for an artist of reborn dolls and those who are chosen get the highest respect as well as the knowledge that their skills have been noticed and recognised. Once the baby has been finished the artist will be posting a notice with all the details at the Baby Banter Forum.
Whilst on the subject of the sites I would like to thank everyone for their support of all the sites and the figures have come in on the number of visitors we are now getting. Around 11,000 hit’s a month at the Baby Banter Forum with approx the same at The Baby Maker Blog and even higher at the Andama Galleries site, these numbers are very good so I have told and it appears they are on the increase meaning the members numbers should also be increasing as well in the coming year.
Andama Dujon over the last two years created 130 new babies of which over 100 have been adopted; these wonderful little babies are now living all over the world.
We at the moment have only 15 babies looking for new homes although this coming year Andama hopes to create a minimum of 30 reborn dolls which will also be listed for sale/ adoption.
Due to the property being for sale making moving and inevitability Andama hopes to reduce the numbers of babies waiting for new homes and has reduced the price of half of them to cost. Drop in and have a look at the babies waiting to be adopted and grab yourself a bargin an  a highly collectable reborn baby doll.
For those who are unaware, Andama Galleries was asked to provide David Gould studios six reborn dolls for a movie being made on the Gold Coast. David Gould has worked on movies such as Lord of the Rings and King Kong as well as many others. You can pop into their website and have a  look at the teaser for the movie which is now finished and feel free to leave a message at the Baby banter forum.
Two of us from the gallery spent an entire day on the film set of Inseparable Coil and found both cast and crew very nice. Tony Bonner was especially kind and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
